There is a certain lure that is alive in America's bigger cities, that can often be the driving force in rural communities, to expand and develop their local business market.

Big US Cities have in its arms, the infrastructure and commerce which makes them busy, productive and fast moving all at the same time.
In the USA, there are many rural areas which are experiencing various problems due to the lack of enough business growth even on a smaller scale in their local communities. The establishment of new business very often is the start of economic growth.
One problem in rural area commerce is that people lack the capital they need to expand and create new businesses.
Many of the more established local businesses even ones that are in operation, do not have enough capital to initiate new business, expand or even upgrade the businesses they are doing well in already.

With this in mind local and state government decided to provide special loans and other financial assistance for those who wish to start or improve businesses in rural communities.
There are various agencies which cater the needs of borrowers and businesses needing grants, abatement's or just upgrade money. Some are short to midterm loans and some are connecting people and businesses to funds they can apply for, if they qualify.
There are also organizations that assist people in finding the capital they need for their business. However, even if funds are available, it was discovered that many Rural Americans do not have the necessary skills or know how in planning, to apply for the funds they need when they need them.
We suggest that before applying for a loan, a grant or upgrade money, rural business owners and start-ups should consider a few points:
First, understand and know why you most likely will need some type of Business Plan.
Usually in writing.

Business Plans can help Rural Entrepreneurs demonstrate they have fully researched their proposed businesss, that they know how to build their product line, get their product to market, provide excellent customer service and that they know how to sell their products.
Business Plans also demonstrate that the business and business owner knows how to manage Financial Risk.
Second, you must also know how to develop a marketing plan and or sales plan to sell your product or service.
In order to develop a detailed marketing plan or sales plan you must thoroughly understand your business, target audience, your industry and your company's position in that industry.
Working with a Qualified Business Planner, will give your business venture the opportunity to work with information like: legal issues, marketing and finance data so that at the time of your submission for funds, you will know the right information that can help you and your business start and build a better business that has a better chance of being successful.
